History of Tacos Gavilan
Tacos Gavilan (formerly known as Tacos El Gavilan), was founded on the corner of Gage & Main in Los Angeles, California in 1992 with the vision to expand the Mexican cuisine throughout California.
Tacos Gavilan is a family-owned fast-food chain company. Our recipes go through generations of our family which showcases the authentic taco cart experience, that makes customers come back for more. At Tacos Gavilan, we only serve fresh and high-quality Mexican cuisine that customers love. Our meals are freshly made to perfection with real ingredients that are never frozen. Truth be told, it’s one of the secrets why our customers love our food so much!
At Tacos Gavilan we also offer quality within a fast-casual dining environment, with wonderful staff where you can bring your family and friends to enjoy with. We make sure that you always feel welcome and can enjoy your experience.
We then expanded the Tacos Gavilan around Southern California to let people around experience the taste of homemade Mexican quality cooking. We now have 14 branches around California, succeeding our vision of expanding Mexican cuisine.
There are Tacos Gavilan branches in Los Angeles Central, Los Angeles Broadway, Huntington Park, Bell, Hollywood, Southgate, Lynwood, Downey, Norwalk, La Puente, West Covina, Azusa, Santa Ana, and Rialto– all with the options of also drive through and online pick-up order, making it easy, user friendly, with quality and fast food!
